Alarm and control lamps indicate action of certain knots and systems or warn about violations in work of knots and systems.

Some from the presented here alarm and control lamps are available only on certain executions of the car or are established as the custom-made equipment.

NOTE Some alarm and control lamps are in addition duplicated and on the display. Failures of knots and systems are divided on degree of importance and are shown on the display red or yellow pictograms and are in addition accompanied by text messages.

Protivozanosny system (ESP)

The control lamp shows action of protivozanosny system and malfunction emergence in it.

Functions of a control lamp:

– burns at ignition inclusion about two seconds at working capacity check;

– blinks during movement when the protivozanosny system operates;

– burns at malfunction of protivozanosny system;

– burns, when the protivozanosny system is disconnected;

– burns also at malfunction of ABS as the protivozanosny system works together with ABS.

If the control lamp lights up at once after engine start-up, it is possible to assume office shutdown of system. The system can be activated again in this case switching off and return inclusion of ignition. If the control lamp went out, the system is again completely efficient.

Anti-blocking system (ABS)

The alarm lamp indicates malfunction emergence in ABS and in the related protivobuksovochny system (EDS).

The alarm lamp burns at ignition inclusion some seconds. The lamp dies away after completion of process of automatic check of working capacity.

At emergence of malfunction in ABS:

– the alarm lamp at inclusion of ignition does not light up;

– the alarm lamp in some seconds after inclusion of ignition does not die away;

– the alarm lamp lights up during movement.

The car can be braked by working brake system – but without ABS action. It is necessary to visit car-care center rather whenever possible.

At malfunction of ABS also control lamp of protivozanosny system burns.

Malfunction in all brake system

If the alarm lamp of ABS lights up together with an alarm lamp of brake system, it means that there is a malfunction not only in ABS, but also in brake system

Malfunction of protivobuksovochny system (EDS)

The Protivobuksovochny system works together with ABS. To refusal of this system points fire of an alarm lamp of ABS. It is necessary to visit a workshop rather whenever possible.

ATTENTION If level of brake liquid in norm, it is possible that malfunctions in brake system were caused by ABS refusal at performance of regulation of process of braking. Thus back wheels when braking can be early blocked relatively. Under certain circumstances it can lead to car drift! Carefully follow in the next repair shop for malfunction elimination.

Accumulator category

The alarm lamp indicates the accumulator category that can be caused by malfunction of the generator.

The alarm lamp lights up at ignition inclusion. It dies away after engine start-up.

If the alarm lamp lights up at movement, it means that the storage battery is not charged any more from the generator. It is urgently necessary to follow in the next workshop.

As thus the accumulator is discharged, it is necessary to switch off everything unessential consumers of a current. Tension in an onboard network shows the voltmeter.

Final system

For final system the alarm lamp is provided.

The alarm lamp blinks:

At ignition admissions; converter can be damaged. Do not press strongly a pedal of gas and carefully follow in the next workshop for engine check.

The alarm lamp burns:

If during movement the alarm lamp starts to burn, it means that toxicity of the fulfilled gases (for example increased, at malfunction of the oxygen sensor). Do not press strongly a pedal of gas and carefully follow in the next workshop for engine check.

ERS engine management

The alarm lamp lights up at malfunctions in management of the petrol engine.

NOTE Really for cars with the petrol engine.

The alarm lamp lights up after ignition inclusion at working capacity check. After engine start-up it should go out.

At emergence in movement of malfunctions in engine management the alarm lamp lights up. It is necessary to check urgently the engine in a workshop.

Prestarting heating / engine management

The control lamp burns at action of prestarting heating. It blinks at malfunction in engine management.

NOTE Really for cars with the diesel engine.

The control lamp burns:

If at ignition inclusion the control lamp lights up, it means that the prestarting heating is included. After switching off of a control lamp the engine can be started at once. At the heated-up engine the control lamp does not light up. The engine can be started immediately.

If the control lamp at the cold engine after inclusion of ignition does not light up, it means that there is a malfunction in prestarting heating. The qualified help is necessary.

The control lamp blinks:

The control lamp blinks at emergence of malfunctions in management of the diesel engine. It is necessary to check urgently the engine in a workshop.
