Check condition
Pressure of fuel should be in norm, check check of a regulator of pressure of fuel and residual pressure in a power supply system.

Procedure for test
Remove an inlet collector.
Then completely remove a fuel stage (submitting топливопровод it is necessary to leave connected).

Tightness check
Uncover blocks of safety locks.

Take the relay of fuel pumps 1 and 2 from nests (fig. 2.276) .

Connect the DU panel for V.A.G 1348, V.A.G 1348/3A V.A.G 1348/33 wire adapter to the socket of the relay of the fuel pump of the right module of supply of fuel (fig. 2.277) .

The second contact of a wire adapter – V.A.G 1348/33 connect to the socket of the relay of the fuel pump of the left module of supply of fuel (fig. 2.278) .
Turn on the DU panel.
If fuel pumps work, check tightness of nozzles (visual survey). At working fuel pumps each nozzle should leave 1–2 drops of fuel in a minute.
At an exit of bigger amount of fuel replace a faulty nozzle.
Installation is carried out in return sequence. Thus it is necessary to consider the following.
Sealing rings of round section are necessary for replacing on all nozzles and previously to moisten them in engine oil.
Insert nozzles vertically, in the correct situation in a fuel stage and fix them fixing brackets.
Establish a fuel stage with the nozzles fixed in it on an inlet collector and evenly press it.
