NOTE The automatic proof-reader of headlights with gas-discharge lamps is equipped with self-diagnostics function. At carrying out repair work it is necessary to know, how the lighting equipment and as it to operate works.

General description

The main headlights with gas-discharge lamps have the biksenon function.

Gas-discharge lamps in usual "xenon" headlights radiate only a passing beam. "Biksenon" allows to develop "one" gas-discharge lamp both near, and a driving beam. For this purpose the electromechanical regulator (a magnet for zaslonka moving in the left headlight and a magnet for zaslonka moving in the right headlight) at inclusion of a driving beam opens before the closed site of a passing beam, and there is a distribution of a driving beam.

For this reason in "biksenonovy" headlights together with a passing beam the distant is automatically regulated. However, if on the car «the additional driving beam» is established, it follows adjust separately.

The passing beam is developed by one light source.

The driving beam is developed by two light sources.

Magnet for moving of a zaslonka of a biksenonovy headlight

Removal and magnet installation for moving of a zaslonka of a biksenonovy headlight

The magnet for zaslonka moving in the left headlight and a magnet for zaslonka moving in the right headlight is built in a headlight and cannot be removed and replaced separately or recustomized.

In case of malfunction headlight replacement is necessary.

NOTE Sensors of position of the rotary module of the left and right headlights is in a headlight and cannot be replaced or adjusted separately. In case of malfunction headlight replacement is necessary.
