Locking and car unlocking

By means of remote radio management of locks it is possible to lock and unlock the car at distance.

The radio transmitter with a battery is placed in a radio key. The receiver of radio signals is in the car. Range of action of a radio key depends on many reasons. At the discharged battery range of action decreases.

Unlocking and car locking

In the main Komfort-Setup menu it is possible to establish a mode of unlocking and car locking.

NOTE Radio keys unlock and lock the car only in radius of action of remote control (fig. 1.11) . If the car unblocked, and throughout the subsequent 30 with any of doors, including a back door, it was not open, the car automatically is again locked. This function prevents inadvertent long leaving of not locked car. If the car will not manage to be unlocked or locked more a radio key, the radio key should be synchronized anew.

Battery replacement

On the display of an instrument guard there is a message on need shortly to replace a battery in a radio key.

Besides, the control lamp in a battery starts to blink green light (fig. 1.12) .

Synchronization of radio keys

Lock the car a mechanical key.

Include ignition.

If a key чнажимали out of a radio key area of coverage, it is possible that the car will not manage to be unlocked or locked more a radio key. The radio key should be synchronized anew.

Additional radio keys it is possible to order Volkswagen in the service enterprise; in the same place it is necessary to synchronize them.

In using there can be at most eight radio keys.

Access to the car without a key

Undertake the handle of that door which want to unlock (fig. 1.13) .

Locking of doors

Press once the button in the door handle to lock the car

Press twice the button in the door handle to lock the car and to turn on the security alarm system (without activation of supervision over internal space of the car and protection against loading on the car wrecker).

If the key to the car is, for example, in a pocket of a jacket of the driver, and it comes nearer to the car, the access system without a key identifies a key, will check its working capacity and will carry out the following functions:

– car unlockings without a key;

– engine start-up;

– car locking.

As additional safety function of access without a key there is «a passive exit». If the jacket with a key was left in the car, locking of the car does not occur – the driver should not appear without a key outside of the locked car.

Security repeated locking

If the car unblocked, and throughout the subsequent 30 with any of doors, including a back door, were not open, the car automatically is again locked. This function prevents inadvertent long leaving of not locked car.

Car unlocking by means of access without a key after long parking

If the car a long time do not use (for example, during holiday), approach sensors in handles of doors it is disconnected for economy of the electric power. In this case it is necessary to pull once the door handle for unlocking of the car and to pull it the second time for door opening.
