Correctly established head restraints are a necessary condition of effective protection of the driver and passengers at the majority of failures.

Adjust the provision of a head restraint so that the upper edge of a head restraint was on one line with the top point of the head (fig. 1.87) .

ATTENTION Driving with the removed or incorrectly established head restraints increases probability of receiving serious traumas.

Adjustment on height

The provision of head restraints can be adjusted by their shift in the vertical direction.

Clasp a head restraint on each side from two parties.

Shift a head restraint up or down.

Be convinced that the head restraint is reliably fixed in this situation.

To shift a head restraint against the stop down, it is necessary to keep pressed a key 1 (fig. 1.88) sideways in a head restraint.

Removal of head restraints

Shift a head restraint completely up.

Press a key 2.

Hold a key pressed and extend a head restraint up.

Installation of head restraints

Insert a head restraint into seats directing in a back.

Shift a head restraint down.

Adjust the provision of a head restraint.
