NOTE At removal, installation or replacement of servo-drivers of the proof-reader it is necessary to check (if necessary to correct) control of headlights. In drawings replacement of a lamp of the servo-driver of the proof-reader on the left headlight is represented. Replacement of the left servo-driver of the proof-reader of headlights and the right servo-driver of the proof-reader of headlights is carried out in the similar way.

Removal

Switch off ignition and all electric consumers, take the ignition key.

Remove a headlight.

Unscrew a bolt 1 and to squeeze out a shaft of a drive of adjustment of near and far light on height 2 in the arrow direction from directing (fig. 7.95) .

Take a shaft of a drive of adjustment 2 of the headlight case.

Wring out a bracket 1 in the arrow direction aside and remove a cap 2 (fig. 7.96) .

Disconnect the tip 3.

Unscrew fixing bolts 1.

Press the servo-driver 2 in the arrow direction to extend a spherical head of an adjusting axis sideways from fastening of a spherical head at a reflector (fig. 7.97) .

Take the servo-driver 2 of the headlight case.

Installation

Installation is carried out in return sequence, thus it is necessary to consider the following.

NOTE At installation pay attention to dense fixing of a cap. At hit in a water headlight, the headlight can be spoiled.

Carefully to insert an adjusting axis of the servo-driver 1 in directing spherical heads (fig. 7.98) .

Check headlight work, including all its functions.

Check control of headlights, if necessary – adjust.
