ATTENTION When opening a broad tank it can leave hot steam. to avoid a travmirovaniye of eyes and an oshparivaniye, to put on goggles and special clothes. To cover a cover of a bull-calf with rags and accurately to open it.

Open a cover of a broad tank of system of cooling.

Remove a noise isolation.

Pull together a fixing bracket (fig. 2.232) of a hose of cooling liquid down and to remove a hose from a radiator.

NOTE Observe rules of utilization of cooling liquid.

In addition, for plum of cooling liquid from the engine, disconnect a water hose from an oil cooler (fig. 2.233) .

The gulf of cooling liquid

The temperature of freezing of cooling liquid should make not less than-25 °C (in the countries with the Arctic climate – not less than-35 °C).

NOTE As a concentrate it is authorized use only G 12 plus on norm of "TL-VW 774 F". Characteristic sign: lilac color. G 12 plus and additives to OZh with a mark: «there corresponds TL-VW 774 F» prevents damages from a frost and corrosion, adjournment of lime and increases boiling temperature. Therefore during the whole year the cooling system surely should work with interfering freezing and an anticorrosive concentrate. Especially in the countries with tropical climate at high loads of the engine cooling liquid with the increased temperature of boiling reliably protects the engine at operation.

It is forbidden to reduce also a share of a concentrate in cooling liquid in a warm season or at operation in the countries with warm climate, adding in cooling system water. The share of a concentrate should make not less than 40 %.

If because of climatic conditions the temperature of freezing has to be lowered, it is possible to increase a share of a concentrate of G 12 plus, but no more than to 60 % (the temperature of freezing will make in that case about-40 °C). At excess of this limit the freezing temperature will raise again, and the thermal capacity of cooling liquid, besides, will decrease.

At replacement of a radiator, the heat exchanger of a heater, the water pump or GBTs laying the reuse of the merged cooling liquid is forbidden.

For determination of temperature of freezing of cooling liquid it is recommended use рефрактометр T10007.

The amount of filled-in cooling liquid can differ depending on a car complete set.
