Removal

Remove a front bumper.

Bring a radiator frame into service situation.

Establish a cranked shaft in the provision of a dead point of the first cylinder to check gazoraspredeleniye phases.

Remove a damper of krutilny fluctuations.

Merge cooling liquid.

Remove a hose 3 from a tube of system of cooling. Unscrew fixing bolts 1 and 2 and cast away a tube of system of cooling forward (fig. 2.247) .

Unscrew a carving stopper of an opening for plum of cooling liquid.

Uncover the water pump.

Unscrew fixing bolts of the water pump (fig. 2.248) and remove the water pump.

NOTE If bolts of the water pump are inaccessible – establish a quencher of krutilny fluctuations and to rotate a cranked shaft by means of a countersupport of T10172 and T10172/1 bolt while bolts is not become available.

Installation

Installation is carried out in return sequence, thus it is necessary to consider the following:

Grease a new sealing ring of round section with cooling liquid, not to use other lubricant substances.

Insert the water pump.

Tighten fixing bolts (fig. 2.248) of the water pump with the moment of 20 N · m + 1/4 about. (90 °).

Tighten fixing bolts of a cover of the water pump in the specified sequence with the moment of 8 N • m (fig. 2.249) .

Fill in cooling liquid.
