The display in an instrument guard shows functions of the menu, the message and a selector position.

On the display there are also various messages (fig. 1.25) . Besides, on the display menus which allow to receive information are highlighted and to carry out various adjustments.

Menu using by means of governing bodies on the podrulevy switch of screen wipers

As an example the menu for input of the high-speed prevention is chosen. It can take place, when, for example, on the car winter tires which do not correspond to the maximum speed of the car are established.

In the main menu choose the KOMFORT SETUP point.

Hold pressed a perekidny key B more than two seconds until the main menu will seem.

Press a perekidny key from above or from below until choose KOMFORT SETUP menu point.

Press a key A for a menu call.

Press a perekidny key from above or from below until there will be a menu point «GESCHW. WARN».

Installation of the high-speed prevention

Choose as means of a perekidny key point of the menu of +10 km/h or–10 km/h and press a key that established speed to increase or reduce.

Main window

At the switched-off CD receiver the current time appears in the middle of the display, at the included CD receiver the accepted radio station is shown. By impact on a perekidny key on the podrulevy switch or rotation of a castor it is possible to change accepted radio stations (radio station search).

When listening compact discs it is possible to change titles.

The main menu «Maintaining to the purpose»

Access to this menu is possible only at the included navigation system.

At active maintaining to the purpose instructions on a route are shown.

If maintaining to the purpose inactively, the direction of movement and the name of proyezzhayemy streets are shown.

Main Phone menu

This menu is available only on cars with built-in phone.

NOTE Really for cars: with an instrument guard of Highline and the mobile phone.

Entering calls are shown on the display (fig. 1.30) . These calls can be accepted or rejected in key pressing on the podrulevy switch or castor pressing.

The contents of the telephone directory appear when at first are pressed phone button on a steering wheel and then a perekidny key or rotate a castor.

Main menu «Multipurpose index of MFA»

The multipurpose index (MFA) issues various data on a trip.

NOTE Really for cars with an instrument guard of Highline.

For a choice of the store press a key on the podrulevy switch or a castor.

Press a perekidny key on the podrulevy switch or turn a castor to choose a certain store.

Press a key on the podrulevy switch or a castor to obtain data from the chosen store.

For dumping of sizes choose the store which is necessary for clearing.

Hold pressed a key on the podrulevy switch or a castor not less than two seconds.

You can by means of pressing of a perekidny key on the podrulevy switch or pressing of a castor to cause on the display the following indications of the multipurpose index.

The store «Data on the current trip» contains the following information:

– trip time;

– distance;

– average speed of movement;

– average fuel consumption;

– instant fuel consumption.

These data are automatically erased from the store if ignition was switched off more than two hours.

The store «Data on the last trips» contains the following information:

– time of trips;

– distance;

– average speed of movement;

– average fuel consumption;

– instant fuel consumption.

The store «After the last filling» contains the following information:

– distance;

– average speed of movement;

– average fuel consumption;

– a course stock on fuel.

All former data in this store after fuelling are automatically erased.

Indication of external temperature

Range of measurements – from–40 °C to +50 °C. At external temperature from +4 °C to–40 °C in the field of indication for the indication of external temperature in addition there is «a snowflake pictogram» (the prevention of ice possibility). This pictogram blinks the first five seconds and then is shone constantly until when the external temperature will exceed +4 °C.

ATTENTION Even when there is no «the snowflake pictogram», ice is possible. Do not rely only on this pictogram – ice is dangerous.

NOTE At the motionless car and at very low speed of movement the shown temperature can be slightly higher true owing to thermal radiation of the engine.

Main Comfort menu

In this menu it is possible to make various installations of ensuring comfort when using the car.

NOTE Really for cars with an instrument guard of Highline.

In the menu «Home» it is possible to establish arrival, as lighting in a mode «Arrival home» long will be included.

The Daylight menu иформирует about inclusion and daylight switching off.

The menu «Illumination of a zone of feet» informs on brightness of illumination of a zone of an arrangement of feet at movement.

In the menu «High-speed prevention» it is established, whether it is necessary to inform on the most admissible speed of movement by means of the text and sound prevention and at what speed to do it. Use this function, for example, when on the car there are winter tires with the most admissible speed, which less maximum speed of the car.

In the Time menu it is possible to establish the current time and to choose between 12-and 24-hour indications.

You get directly to this menu when press on an instrument guard the button of installation of time.

In the Protection menu it is possible to establish, whether should be activated when locking the car supervision over internal space of the car and protection against loading on the car wrecker (an inclination sensor).

In the menu «Unlocking of doors» it is established what doors it is necessary to unlock.

In the Doors menu it is established, what doors should be unlocked by pressing of the button of unlocking of a radio key: or only door of the driver, or only two left doors, or all doors.

Whether in the Signals menu it is established unlocking of doors should be accompanied by a blinking of indexes of turn.

Depending on execution of the car the soundtrack of unlocking of doors can be also included or switched off.
