The alarm system serves for the prevention other drivers about the car standing on the carriageway.

If it is necessary to stop the car on technical malfunction:

1. Put the car as it is possible further from the carriageway;

2. Press a key to turn on the alarm system (fig. 1.43) ;

3. Switch off the engine;

4. Reliably tighten the parking brake;

5. Put the selector of an automatic transmission in a position P;

6. For the prevention of drivers of other cars in due time expose a sign of an emergency stop;

7. Always take away a natural itself when leave the car.

Turn on the alarm system at an entrance by the stopper end, at a stop on technical malfunction and at towage of your car. At the switched-on alarm system all indexes of turn blink. Control lamps of indexes of turn and a control lamp in the switch also blink. The alarm system works and at the switched-off ignition.

NOTE At long turning on of the alarm system the accumulator is discharged. When using external lighting be guided by traffic regulations.
