NOTE Necessary special adaptations, control and measuring devices, and also supportive applications: – T10095 A stripper; – dinamometrichesky key (5–50 N · м) V. A. G 1331; – компрессометр V. A. G 1763; – candle key of 3122 B; – T10118 replacement tool.

NOTE The oil temperature in the engine should be not less than 30 °C. Tension of joint stock bank should make not less than 11,5 Century. All electric consumers, for example headlights and heating of back glass, should be switched off. If the car is equipped with climatic installation, it also should be disconnected. In cars with automatic transmission to transfer the selector to the situation "P" or "N".

Safety locks 13 and 14 (shooters in drawing 2.14 ) should be taken from the nests.

Procedure for test

Remove an engine casing.

Remove ignition coils with target cascades.

Unscrew spark plugs a candle key of 3122 B.

Measure a compression with the help компрессометра V. A. G 1763.

The assistant should squeeze out completely a pedal of an accelerator and start the engine.

Twist a starter while indications компрессометра will cease to increase.

Value of a compression:

- the new: 10–13 bar;

- limit of wear: 7,5 bar;

admissible difference between all cylinders: 3rd bar.

Twist spark plugs a candle key 3122B and tighten them with the moment of 20 N · m.

After the completion of installation works

Connect VAS 5052 tester.

Carry out the test of automobile systems.

Finish testing of automobile systems that the records created because of installation about mistakes were removed automatically.

Carry out a trial trip.

Create a code of reading OBD and execute a trial trip.

Observe security measures operating for trial trips.

Then anew execute testing of systems of the car and eliminate at existence the arisen errors.
