Check conditions

The temperature of engine oil should be not less than 80 °C (the fan of system of cooling should work at least once)

In cars with automatic transmission transfer the selector to the situation "P" or "N".

Works order

Check pressure of oil at various number of turns:

1500 mines ^–1 – at least 1,7 bar;

2000 mines ^–1 – 3,0–5,5 bar;

over 2000 mines ^–1 – Max. 7,0 bar.

If the actual values are lower set check the mesh filter in a maslozaborny branch pipe on existence of pollution.

Check a pressure head tube between the oil pump and the block of cylinders on tightness.

NOTE Mechanical damages, for example malfunction of bearings, also can cause oil pressure decrease.

If malfunction to find it was not possible replace the oil pump.

Pressure of oil should not exceed 7,0 bar.

If pressure of oil exceeds 7,0 bar check oil channels.

Probably in the oil pump jams a safety valve.

Replace the oil pump.
