Relays of fuel pumps and safety locks 13 and 14 should be inserted into blocks.

Procedure for test

Connect a cable adapter, 121-contact V.A.G 1598/31 and перемкните switchboard 1 and 65 nests wires from V.A.G 1594C set (fig. 2.279) .
Insert a tested nozzle into a measured vessel of a tester of amount of injected V.A.G 1602 fuel.

Connect one contact of a tested nozzle by means of a wire from a set of supportive measuring applications of V.A.G 1594/C to mass of the engine (fig. 2.280) .
The second contact of a nozzle connect by means of an auxiliary wire to the DU panel for V.A.G 1348 – V.A.G 1348/3A with a wire adapter – V.A.G 1348/32.
Clip of the crocodile type connect to a positive conclusion of joint stock bank in a motor compartment.
Involve the page DU 30 panel.
Repeat operation with other nozzles. For each nozzle use a separate test tube.
After testing of all nozzles put measured vessels on an equal surface and compare amount of fuel. Preset value: 128–140 ml on a nozzle.
If the set size either is not reached, or exceeded by one or several nozzles, replace a faulty nozzle.
Installation is carried out in return sequence. Thus it is necessary to consider the following.
Sealing rings of round section are necessary for replacing on all nozzles and previously to moisten them in engine oil.
Insert nozzles vertically, in the correct situation in a fuel stage and fix them fixing brackets.
Establish a fuel stage with the nozzles fixed in it on an inlet collector and evenly press it.
