Removal

The stretcher acts in film by means of an elevating table of nozhnichny type. In forward points of fastening of an arm of a support of the engine it is necessary establish shorter, safety bolts. The stretcher acts in film together with. steering mechanism, drive of a forward axis, bottom levers of a suspension bracket and cases of bearings of wheel naves. Pneumatic elastic elements / amortization racks with basic arms and the top levers of a suspension bracket remain on the car.

ATTENTION Disconnected stabilizers before the beginning of works it is necessary include. Otherwise inadvertent turning on of stabilizers can lead to a trauma.

Include hydraulic system of disconnected stabilizers.

Turn off wheel bolts.

Lift the car.

Remove forward wheels.

Establish the spring tightening VW 552 adaptation on both parties of the car in the top opening of a wheel niche of A and on the top lever of a suspension bracket of B (fig. 4.51) .

Slightly clamp the lever not to damage a spherical pin of the hinge of a suspension bracket.

Squeeze out the top lever (fig. 4.52) .

In a wheel niche disconnect brake hoses from pipelines of a brake drive.

Disconnect all electric wires between a body and a suspension bracket.

Remove a noise isolation under an engine/transmission.

Turn off the holder of pipelines of hydraulics 1 (fig. 4.53) .

Turn off pressure head and drain pipelines 2 from the steering mechanism.

Turn off the driveshaft from forward main transfer and adhere.

Disconnect both hydraulic pipelines 1 and electric connection 2 (fig. 4.54) .

At installation do not mix pipelines.

Check, whether there is a label «in the movement direction» on the forward pipeline. If it is not present, put the new.

Turning off pipelines, hold them a rozhkovy wrench.

Insert cores of 10-222 A/11 into loops of an arm of the engine on the right and left parties (fig. 4.47) .

Insert wooden whetstone A in length about 300 mm into brackets of cores of 10-222 A/11 (fig. 4.48) .

Thus brackets should be directed back.

Tighten clips of cores, for this purpose wooden whetstones should lean on an arm of hinged units B.

Establish a tip of a podkatny jack in a rack for the engine and a transmission of V. A. G 1383 A.

Establish a rack for the engine and a transmission of V. A. G 1383 A under an arm of the engine and slightly press (fig. 4.55) .

Fix a stretcher.

Unscrew stretcher bolts.

Turn off a connecting bar at the left and to the right of the stabilizer.

Lower a stretcher by means of cores of 10-222 A/11 approximately on 50 mm.

Use two bolts of M14x1,5x90, for example bolts No. 104 281 01 that fix an arm of a support of the engine at the left and on the right.

Clean a rack for the engine and V.A.G 1383 transmission from under an engine arm.

Fasten support to an elevating nozhnichny table, as is shown in drawing (fig. 4.56) .

To Oboprita a stretcher on an elevating table (fig. 4.57) .

Remove cores of 10-222 A/11 from a stretcher.

Carefully remove the pipeline for air A removal from the main forward transfer (fig. 4.58) .

Now slowly lower a stretcher. Constantly watch that it occurred freely.

Installation

Installation is carried out in return sequence, thus it is necessary to consider the following.

Fixing bolts of the driveshaft replace always

Fasten a stretcher new bolts (fig. 4.55) .

Remove cores of 10-222 A/11 from a stretcher.

Establish the kardanny hinge on the steering mechanism and tighten a bolt the inhaling moment.

If is available, establish the screen on the steering mechanism

Establish forward wheels

On cars with disconnected stabilizers pump over stabilizers.

Pump over brake system.

After installation execute a trial trip if at rectilinear movement the wheel is not necessary directly, it is necessary execute RUUK.
