Works on forward kardanny to a shaft should be carried out on the two-basic lift with a platform.
Before dismantle the provision of all parts on the relation to each other mark. Assembly is carried out in the same situation, differently there is an imbalance that can cause damages of support and be shown in the form of the raised shumnost.
At emergence of jingling sounds at movement it is necessary to turn off the forward driveshaft from a flange of forward main transfer and, having displaced on one fixing opening, again fasten.
If jingling sounds did not disappear, the forward driveshaft can be displaced on no more than 5 openings.

Removal
At cars with an automatic transmission switch the selector in the situation "N".
Establish an emphasis of a pedal of a brake of V.A.G 1869/2.
Lift the car.
Remove a noise isolation under a transmission.
At existence – dismantle protection of the bottom under the driveshaft.

Check on forward kardanny to a shaft and on a flange / карданном to a shaft of forward main transfer marking existence (a color point) (fig. 3.129) .
In the absence of this marking – mark the provision of a flange of the driveshaft in relation to forward main transfer.

Unscrew 3 bottom fixing bolts of the forward driveshaft on a forward main broadcast A (fig. 3.130) .

Unscrew 3 bottom fixing bolts of the forward driveshaft on a flange of a shaft of selection of capacity of a transfer case of B (fig. 3.131) .
Lower the car.
Remove an emphasis of a pedal of a brake of V.A.G 1869/2.
Lift the car.
Turn forward wheels in one party, and thus, to tighten the forward driveshaft on a half of turn.
Lower the car.
Establish an emphasis of a pedal of a brake of V.A.G 1869/2.
Lift the car.
Unscrew 3 remained fixing bolts of the forward driveshaft of forward main transfer and a transfer case.
Remove a transmission arm as follows.
Rack for the engine and V.A.G 1383 A transmission with a universal emphasis 1359/2 and a wooden block And establish under a transfer case.

Turn off an arm of a transmission And from a body (fig. 3.133) .
Then turn off a transmission arm from the console of a transfer case.
Disconnect the forward driveshaft.
If the forward driveshaft is not disconnected, lower an engine/transmission a little. Thus do not allow a contact of the engine and a forward wall of a body.

Installation
Installation is carried out in return sequence, thus it is necessary to consider the following.
Always replace fixing bolts of the forward driveshaft.
Labels also should stand on one line.
Establish a transmission arm as follows:
Use new bolts (fig. 3.132) .
Fasten a transmission arm at first to the console of a transfer case with the inhaling moment.
Then fasten an arm of a transmission And to a body with the inhaling moment (fig. 3.133) .
Twist bolts of the forward driveshaft and tighten with the inhaling moment.
At existence – establish protection of the bottom under the driveshaft.

Inhaling moments
The console to a transmission arm (always replace bolts) – 50 N · m +90 °
Transmission arm to a body (always replace bolts) – 50 N · m +90 °
The forward driveshaft to a flange of forward main transfer (always replace bolts) – 30 N · m +90 °
The forward driveshaft to a flange of a transfer case (always replace bolts) – 30 N · m +90 °
