Removal

Clamp a steering column in a vice, as is shown in drawing.

Mark the provision of the top part rather bottom.

Pull together the lower part with top strong sharp movement in the arrow direction (fig. 5.8) .

Remove a sealing cuff from the lower part.

Slightly grease consolidation (fig. 5.9) .

Before installation check a working surface directing in the lower part on existence of pollution and scratches (fig. 5.10) .

If on a working surface there are scratches, follows replace a steering column, sufficient consolidation between a steering column and a sealing cuff otherwise will not be provided.

Slightly rotating a cuff, establish it on the lower part, as is shown in drawing 5.10 .

Collect a steering column so that labels coincided, and parts of a steering column incorporated to the help of one sharp movement.

If the steering column is collected properly, it is impossible to pull together the lower part with top, having made usual effort.

Establish a steering column.
