Remove a forward noise isolation.

Remove a forward noise isolation.

Remove the lower part of the air filter of the first and second row. cylinders air filter.

Unscrew fixing nuts of a pillow of the engine on the left and right support of the engine.

Center T10296 directing an arm in an emphasis of the block of cylinders (fig. 2.164) on the arm center. Tighten the directing.

Insert T10296 arm into a rack for the engine and a transmission of V.A.G 1383 A and slightly press an arm on an emphasis of a head of the block (the engine and a transmission) (fig. 2.165) .

After that unscrew the right and left fixing bolts of a pillow of the engine.

Carefully raise the engine and a transmission by means of an arm of T10296 and remove an engine pillow.

ATTENTION If necessary use free space between heads of the block of cylinders and a forward wall.

If it is necessary, turn off engine support from a head of the block of cylinders and remove engine pillows with an engine support.

Installation

At installation check the correct landing of a pin of a pillow of the engine in a support arm.

All fixing bolts and nuts acquire by hand and tighten with the set moment.

Further installation is carried out in return sequence.
