Removal

Remove an upholstery on the party of the driver

Take the switch of signals the braking/switch of a pedal of a brake

Turn on the holder of the switch of stoplights.

Disconnect a brake pedal from the amplifier of brakes

Remove a support on an arm through which there passes a press bar of the amplifier (fig. 6.16) .

Remove a covering of a water taking away box

Remove consolidation of a motor compartment and a level in the field of the amplifier of brakes.

Remove a wall from a water taking away box.

Remove the tip from the pressure sensor in brake system.

Remove the tip from the sensor of the precautionary indicator of a float.

Unscrew a wire on "weight" from a "weight" point on a body behind an electric box, remove a cable plait for the amplifier of brakes from the holder and put it aside.

Take the switching block at the left in a water taking away box from fastening and postpone it as it is possible further aside (fig. 6.17) .

Put in water taking away box in the field of the main brake cylinder enough of not leaving fibers of rags.

Pump out the maximum quantity of brake liquid by means of the device for filling and VAS 5234 or device pumping for filling and pumping of V.A.G 1869/4 of a tank of brake liquid.

At cars with a mechanical transmission remove a hose of the main cylinder of coupling and close a cap.

Remove a tank of brake liquid. For this purpose wring out outside clamps on a tank and at the same time take out a tank from a cap.

Take the brake pipeline in front at the left from the holder on the main brake cylinder.

Turn off brake tubes from the main brake cylinder, close brake tubes by means of caps of 1H0 698 311 A.

Turn off nuts on the main brake cylinder.

Carefully remove the main brake cylinder from the amplifier of brakes.

Remove a potentiometer of a course of a membrane

Remove a vacuum hose from the amplifier of brakes.

Take brake pipelines from the threefold holder on the amplifier of brakes.

Disconnect the brake pipeline in front at the left in a wheel niche in front at the left.

Unscrew nuts on the amplifier of brakes (fig. 6.18) .

Carefully take the amplifier of brakes from a water taking away box.

Installation

Installation is carried out in return sequence.

NOTE Hold a spherical head of a press bar before fastening and press a brake pedal in the direction of the amplifier of brakes so that the spherical head was latched with heard click.

After installation pump over brake system and coupling.

After pumping of brake system it is necessary to execute base setup of the sensor of pressure in brake system G201.

VAS 5051 connect and will choose function

Adjust the sensor of a signal of the braking/switch of a pedal of a brake
