Removal

Remove a forward right seat.

If is, remove facing of a framework of a seat.

At first it is necessary to check, whether the radio tape recorder with the coding is established in the car. If yes, that it is necessary to learn a protective code.

Switch off ignition and all electric consumers, take the ignition key.

Disconnect a mass wire of joint stock bank.

Disconnect shtekerny connection 1блока managements of a transfer case of J646 and, in case of need – shtekerny connection 2 control units автоматич. J217 transmissions.

Unscrew the screw 3 (fig. 3.93) .

Take the holder with the control unit of a transfer case of J646 in the arrow direction from the holder on a seat framework.

Press clamps 1 in the direction of an arrow and take the control unit of a transfer case of J646 from the holder (fig. 3.94) .

Thus watch that the control unit of a transfer case of J646 did not drop out.

Installation

Installation is carried out in return sequence, thus it is necessary to consider the following.

Insert the holder of the control unit of a transfer case of J646 with slips 2 into an emphasis 1 on a seat framework (fig. 3.93) .

Tighten a bolt 3 with the moment of 8 N · m.

Connect a mass cable to joint stock bank and perform operations on joint stock bank connection.
