If the electric motor of a transfer case of V253 is replaced, keep in mind the following.

The new electric motor of a transfer case is regulated in the ordered situation.

To facilitate installation, adjust this situation whenever possible also on a transfer case.

Switch off ignition.

Turn an operating element of a transfer case of E473 in the situation "LOW/LOW" (fig. 3.122) .

Then switch off ignition.

If the former electric motor of a transfer case is established, the operating element E473 does not need to be turned in the situation "LOW/LOW".

At existence – remove the screen over the electric motor of a transfer case.

Disconnect shtekerny connections And, In and Page.

Remove the holder D (fig. 3.123) .

Unscrew bolts and remove the electric motor of a transfer case from a transfer case (fig. 3.124) .
