Fill space between working and antidust edges of consolidation half plastic A1 G 052 128 greasing.
Establish a sealing ring of round section in a flute of primary shaft.
Press a metal boot And against the stop (fig. 3.110) .
Press a sealing ring of a flange of a shaft of selection of capacity / the forward driveshaft.
Fill space between working and antidust edges of consolidation half plastic G 052 128 A greasing (fig. 3.112) .
Remove a ventilating tube And.
Establish an opravka In with O of 5 mm in an opening of a ventilating tube.

To move a ventilating tube And in the arrow direction, at the same time raise it by means of a screw-driver With and take a ventilating tube from a transfer case (fig. 3.113) .

Press a ventilating tube (fig. 3.114) .
Grease before a press fitting a ventilating tube a varnish for Loctite 648 fixing.
Way of repair at replacement of the electric motor of a transfer case of V253 and at the faulty sensor of temperature of G8 oil

At replacement of the electric motor of a transfer case of V253 and at malfunction of the sensor of temperature of oil 4 it is necessary replace the sensor of temperature of oil (with a sealing ring 3) through a carving stopper 1 with a sealing ring 2 (fig. 3.115) .
Dismantling of a plait of wires of the sensor of temperature of G8 oil occurs in the following order.
Remove the holder of 1 tip of the electric motor of a transfer case, for this purpose unscrew bolts.

Take the 10-contact tip 2 of the holder (fig. 3.116) .
Take wires 1 and 2 10-contact tips by means of the suitable tool from a set for repair of cables of VAS 1978.

Disconnect a plait of wires 3 sensors of temperature of oil (fig. 3.117) .
Close openings for wires of the 10-contact tip 1 and 2 by means of a suitable cap.
Replacement of a sealing ring of a flange of a shaft of selection of capacity / the forward driveshaft (the transfer case is established)
Removal
Remove the forward driveshaft.

Fix a countersupport 3145 2 bolts of M10x25 on a flange of a shaft of selection of capacity (fig. 3.118) .
Turn off nuts of a flange of a shaft of selection of capacity.
Remove a flange of a shaft of selection of capacity.
Remove a sealing ring by means of the universal VW 771 tool and VW 771/37 stripper.
Clear a carving of nuts.

Installation
Fill space between working and antidust edges of consolidation half plastic A1 G 052 128 greasing.
Press a new sealing ring against the stop, thus not to warp its (fig. 3.112) .
Establish a flange of a shaft of selection of capacity.

New sealing ring of round section to moisten in transmission oil and establish (fig. 3.119) .
Grease a carving of new nuts with a varnish for Loctite 648 fixing.
New nuts of a flange of a shaft of selection of capacity twirl with the inhaling moment (fig. 3.118) .
Fix nuts on the provided places (for example, an opravka).

Establish the forward driveshaft.
Check level of transmission oil in a transfer case
Inhaling moment: nuts of a flange of a shaft of selection of capacity to a shaft of selection of capacity of 130 N · m
