Removal

Remove the back driveshaft.

Turn off nuts of a flange of a shaft of selection of capacity (fig. 2.121) .

A–A six-sided bolt of M 10x30 with nuts.

Remove a flange of a shaft of selection of capacity.

Remove a sealing ring by means of the universal VW 771 tool and VW 771/37 stripper (fig. 3.111) .

Clear a carving of nuts.

Installation

Fill space between working and antidust edges of consolidation half plastic A1 G 052 128 greasing.

Press a new sealing ring against the stop, thus do not warp its (fig. 3.112) .

Establish a flange of a shaft of selection of capacity.

New sealing ring of round section moisten in transmission oil and establish.

Grease a carving of new nuts with a varnish for Loctite 648 fixing.

Establish the back driveshaft

Check level of transmission oil in a transfer case

Inhaling moment: nuts of a flange of a shaft of selection of capacity to a shaft of selection of capacity of 130 N · m.
