It is necessary to replace faulty air pipes entirely. Replacement of a part of an air pipe is possible by means of a shtekerny connector.

NOTE The place of repair should be in a zone protected from water, for example in a wheel niche behind a podkrylok. The Shtekerny connector is necessary for attaching by means of a collar to a body or to a cable.

For repair it is necessary to choose direct sites of an air pipe.

By means of a cutting grip of VAS 6228 cut off an air pipe at right angle.

Mark the air pipe end on the car and the end of an established piece by means of a waterproof slate pencil (fig. 4.45) .

Labels serve for control after carrying out repair.

After that lay a new air pipe along original points of fastening.

Insert both ends of the pipeline into a shtekerny connector against the stop.

Air pipes are inserted into a connector remains visible) enough if first color label it is not visible (the second label.
