NOTE The automatic transmission has two programs of movement.

At position of the selector in a position D movement of the car is carried out according to the economic program. This program is focused on economy of fuel. The transmission is switched earlier up and later down.

At position of the selector in a position S movement of the car is carried out according to the sports program. At a yklyucheniye of this mode engine capacity by late gear shifting up is completely used.

Management of an automatic transmission

Press a brake pedal and detain her in the pressed situation.

NOTE At advance of transfer are switched automatically up and down.

Holding the blocking pressed the button (the button in the selector handle), establish a position R, D or S and release the blocking button.

Wait before transmission inclusion (very little push is felt) a little.

Release a brake pedal and give gas.

Short-term stop

Always hold the car a brake pedal for prevention of slow movement of the car, for example, before a traffic light. Thus there is no need to translate the selector in a position P or N.

Do not press a gas pedal.

Parking

Press and hold in the pressed condition a brake pedal to a full stop of the car.

Press a pedal of the parking brake.

Holding in the pressed situation the blocking button, transfer the selector to a position P and release the blocking button.

Movement in the mountain district

In a position D shift the selector to the right for Tiptronic mode inclusion.

Translate the selector back – for inclusion of lower transfer.

At big biases use a mountain brake.
