Purpose of blocking of differentials
Blocking of interaxal and back differentials serves for increase of passableness of the car in cross-country conditions and simplification of movement on abrupt biases.
At movement the external wheel passes bigger distance in curves, than internal. Therefore wheels of one axis move with various speed, and that thus the car could move normally, the axial differential is necessary. The interaxal differential levels speed of rotation of power shafts of forward and back axes, and differential of a back axis – back wheels.

Blocking of interaxal differential
Prevents such situation, when wheels of one axis on slippery soil провертываются on a place while wheels of other axis motionlessly stand on neskolzsky soil.
