NOTE Before removal of the crankshaft provide an appropriate place for its storage to avoid damage of a gear wheel of the sensor. For carrying out installation works the engine is necessary for fixing on a clamp for the engine and VAS 6095 transmission. At replacement of loose leaves of the bearing use only loose leaves with identical color marking.

Installation of a gear wheel of the sensor of turns of the engine on the crankshaft

Before installation check, that adjacent surfaces of the crankshaft and a gear wheel of the sensor were pure and are fat-free. For additional fixing grease on the crankshaft a surface of landing of a gear wheel of the sensor with a thin layer of a carving varnish of D 000 600 A2.

At installation pay attention, that the mark of VR6 was at a separate carving opening (fig. 2.53) .

Tighten all new fixing bolts at first slightly by hand.

Tighten a fixing bolt 1 moment of 10 N · m + 1/4 turns (90 °).

Then tighten a fixing bolt the 2nd moment of 10 N · m + 1/4 turns (90 °).
