NOTE Phases of a gazoraspredeleniye can be checked at the established engine.

Procedure for test

Remove an inlet collector and a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.

To remove a forward noise isolation.

Translate the crankshaft by means of a fixing bolt of a damper of krutilny fluctuations in the direction of rotation of the engine to VMT mark цил. 1 (fig. 2.58) .

The ruler for cam-shafts of T10068 A should enter in both flutes.

If to enclose a ruler for cam-shafts it is not possible, once again turn the crankshaft in the direction of rotation of the engine.

NOTE If the ruler for T10068 A cam-shafts still does not enter, turn the crankshaft in the direction of rotation of the engine approximately on 5 mm above situation VMT цил. 1 (depends on admissions of chains of a drive of GRM).

Compare adjusting marks of phase shifters to marks in a cover of the distributive mechanism.

Marks A and B in phase shifters should coincide with notches of a cover of the distributive mechanism C (fig. 2.69) .

The distance between tooth 1 and tooth of 2 asterisks of phase shifters should make in accuracy of 16 rollers of a chain.

NOTE In drawing 2.69 the system of adjustment of phases of a gazoraspredeleniye is shown at the removed cover.

If marks do not coincide adjust gazoraspredeleniye phases.

If marks coincide establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders and an inlet collector.
