Removal

Remove a transfer case.

For removal of a sealing ring twirl саморез in diameter apprx. 4 mm in a sealing ring.

Twirl саморез so that it appeared clamped between a sealing ring and the metal case.

Twirl саморез not too deeply not to damage the bearing which was below.

Remove a sealing ring by means of T10055 stripper (fig. 3.67) .

Installation

Oil a new sealing ring of ATF, especially carefully – working edges of a sealing ring.

At first establish the T10180 plug on a secondary shaft so that not to damage a sealing ring.

Then press a new sealing ring by means of T10180 opravka against the stop. Thus not to warp a sealing ring (fig. 3.68) .

Then check level of ATF oil and add oil.
